Purpose Statement

The Workers' Compensation Section Purpose Statement.
The Workers' Compensation Section represents both plaintiff and defense attorneys on its council and addresses both perspectives in its newsletter. The Workers' Compensation Section appoints a representative to meet periodically with the Industrial Commission to review issues of interest to member attorneys. The section, with more than 575 members, sponsors CLE programs and services; provides members with a substantive newsletter; and helps mold the association's legislative agenda for presentation to the N.C. General Assembly.
